In my late thirties, I was in the search of something real and deep. I had been many years unsuccessfully trying to make my relationships more satisfying by changing others around me. It never worked. Until one day in summer 2002 I ended up in Nonviolent Communication (Empathic Communication) training in cozy coastal town Pärnu, Estonia.

​This totally changed my life. The way the trainers Liv Larsson and Kay Rung walked their talk, and related to each and every person in this training touched me to the deepest core of my heart. I've never before felt such an unconditional acceptance and genuine interest in me as a human being with all my more or less likeable sides. I experienced them relating with me, as well as with others without any expectations, hidden demands, or wishes for us to be different. 

That was it. I fell in love with the process of Empathic Communication (EC) from the first site.

Since then I have been practicing and teaching EC from kindergartens to prison houses and military organisations, and discovered that the process of Empathic Communication is simple, beautiful, and rewarding, yet not always easy. Therefore, I'd like you to first check out if EC might be for you or not. You can read more about my EC/NVC journey here.
