The Inspiration Behind this Workshop Series
The inspiration for creating this series of workshops came from the 150th birth anniversary (appearance day) of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura Prabhupada, which was officially commemorated globally in 2024.
Seeking Harmony
On a practical level, Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakura emphasized that a sincere seeker should not dwell on complaints about their environment or attempt to forcefully change others. Rather, true harmony begins within—through cultivating humility, patience, and tolerance, refraining from fault-finding, and learning to see life’s challenges and difficulties as opportunities for spiritual growth and as tests from the Divine.
Inspired and encouraged by HH Bir Krishna Das Goswami, we are attempting to serve the devotees of ISKCON and other sincere seekers by offering this relationship series and other courses in Empathic Nonviolent Communication (ENVC).
Through these workshops, our aspiration is to support devotees and sincere seekers in cultivating greater self-awareness, empathy, compassion, and harmony in their relationships with themselves and others. In doing so, we hope to contribute to fostering unity in diversity at both, local and global levels.
